These terms

Virtual Tour Auto ("we", "the platform") operates an interactive vehicle showroom at virtualtourauto.com. These terms are the agreement between you and us for using it. By browsing the site, creating an account, or subscribing, you accept them.

The Privacy Policy forms part of these terms. Where the two overlap — what we collect, who processes it, how long we keep it — the Privacy Policy is the more specific document and governs.

If you accept these terms on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business, and "you" means the business.

Accounts

There are two kinds of account, and one kind of visitor. A subscriber is a business — a dealership, importer, rental company, used car business, or sales representative — that subscribes to list on the platform. A shopper is a visitor who creates a free account to save vehicles and message businesses. Most of the showroom needs no account at all.

• Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep them current. A subscriber's business name, contact details, and locations are shown publicly to shoppers deciding who to contact.
• Your password is issued to you at signup and stored only as a salted hash — we cannot read it or recover it. Keep it to yourself, and tell us if you think it has been used by someone else.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• A subscriber account represents one business. Do not share it with, or resell it to, another business.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Pre-launch, plans and payment

A business account is free to open and free to keep: you may list up to 3 vehicles without paying anything. A subscription is what a fourth vehicle, featured placement, and the rest of a tier's allowances require.

We are not taking card payments yet. The card fields at checkout are not sent to a payment processor, no card number is stored, and no charge is made when you subscribe today. We will tell you what you will be charged, and when, before that changes.

Plans come in two tiers — Showroom and Enterprise — billed monthly or annually, and each tier carries its own limits on how many locations, vehicles, and brands you may list, and whether extras such as featured ad slots, ad video, location catalogs, and starting lobby topics are available. The limits in force are the ones shown on your business portal and enforced in your dashboard.

Where a free trial is offered, its length is the one shown when you sign up. At the end of a trial the account continues on the tier you chose, subject to the notice above about charging.

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future access to subscriber features; it does not by itself delete what you have published.

What you publish

Everything a subscriber puts on the platform — vehicle listings, photos and videos, specifications, prices, lease terms, salary figures, business locations and their map pins, financing notes, logos — stays yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, and display it for the purpose of running the platform, including in search results, on the network map, and in the featured strips your tier entitles you to. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already served or held in backups.

By publishing, you confirm the content is yours to publish, that it is accurate, and that showing it does not infringe anyone's rights. Listing a vehicle means it is genuinely offered on the terms shown.

Anything you publish is public by design. Assume anyone can see it.

We can remove or hide content that breaks these terms, and we can do it without notice where the content is unlawful or harmful.

We are not the seller

The platform is a directory and a showroom. Every listing is published by the business behind it, not by us. We are not a party to any sale, rental, lease, import, or financing arrangement you go on to make, we do not hold vehicles or money, and we make no representation that any vehicle is available, roadworthy, correctly described, or priced as shown.

Specifications, imagery, and figures shown in the interactive tour are illustrative — the specifications panel says so on every vehicle — and are there to help you decide who to contact, not to be relied on when you buy. Confirm everything with the business directly, in writing, before you commit to anything.

Disputes about a vehicle, a price, a deposit, or a deal are between you and the business. We are not obliged to mediate them, though you can report a listing to us.

The Lobby

The Lobby is a public board where subscribers post and anyone signed in can reply. Posts are screened automatically before they are stored, and can be reported, hidden, or pinned by our administrators afterwards. Screening is a backstop, not a guarantee: we do not endorse what anyone posts, and posts are the responsibility of whoever wrote them.

Hiding a post takes it out of the public board without deleting it. We may hide or remove anything that breaks these terms, and may limit how often an account can post.

The AI assistant

The site offers an AI assistant that answers questions about vehicles and businesses, and can pass you to a real person when a conversation needs one. It is automated software. It can be wrong, out of date, or incomplete, and its answers are not professional, financial, legal, or mechanical advice.

Do not send it anything you would not want stored — payment card details, identity documents, or anyone else's personal information. Treat what it tells you about a vehicle the same way as a listing: confirm it with the business before you rely on it.

Messages and leads

When you send a message to a business through the platform, we pass your name, your email address, any phone number you give, and your message to that business by email, along with the vehicle or location you were looking at. From that point the business decides what to do with it, and its own privacy practices apply.

Message businesses about their listings. Do not use the contact forms to send advertising, bulk messages, or anything unsolicited.

Acceptable use

While using the platform, do not:

• Publish anything false, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringing.
• List a vehicle you cannot supply, or advertise terms you do not intend to honour.
• Impersonate another business, person, or brand, or use a manufacturer's marks in a way that suggests an endorsement you do not have.
• Upload malware, or anything designed to interfere with the site or the people using it.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract listings, contact details, or media, or use them to build a competing directory.
• Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, tier limits, or administrative tools.
• Use the AI assistant or the lobby to generate spam, abuse, or content aimed at circumventing screening.
• Resell, sublicense, or make platform access available to a business that has not subscribed.

Our content

The platform itself — its software, design, interface artwork, icons, audio, and the Virtual Tour Auto name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you no right to it beyond using the site as intended. Manufacturer names and marks appearing on the platform belong to their owners and are used to identify vehicles.

Suspension, termination and deletion

You can stop using the platform whenever you like, and can delete your account from your dashboard. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to harm other users, or where we are required to by law.

Deleting a subscriber account is thorough and is not reversible: it removes the subscription, its vehicle listings and their stored images and videos, its locations, its leads, and its recorded events. Lobby posts may remain where other people's replies depend on them. Records we are required to keep — including the record that you accepted these terms — are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

The platform is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It is in active development: features can be added, changed, or withdrawn, and pre-launch behaviour in particular is expected to change. We may perform maintenance without notice.

We are not responsible for failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, including your connection, your browser, or an outage at one of our providers.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the platform is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we disclaim any warranty about listings, businesses, vehicles, valuations, or assistant answers.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or losses arising from a transaction with a business you found here. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose — which, during pre-launch, is nothing.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights.

Changes to these terms

We update these terms when the platform changes. Each version carries a version string and an effective date, and the version you accepted at signup is recorded against your account. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
